They are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Design Engineer with expertise in 3D modeling to support the planning and visualization of complex data center infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain high-fidelity 3D models of data center infrastructure using tools such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, or BIM 360

Translate 2D designs, engineering drawings, and specifications into coordinated 3D models for planning and construction

Perform clash detection, spatial analysis, and design validation to ensure system compatibility and avoid construction conflicts

Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and architectural teams to ensure accurate system representation

Support design reviews, walkthroughs, and presentations with 3D visualizations and animations as needed

Contribute to the development of data center design standards and modeling templates

Coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and vendors to integrate their designs into the overall model

This role requires 50-75% travel
