Field Service Intern
Barry-Wehmiller is a diversified global supplier of engineering consulting and manufacturing technology for the packaging and paper-converting industries. The Field Service Intern will support field service training, lab development, and technical documentation initiatives, providing hands-on experience with electrical and controls training environments.

Responsibilities
Assist with building and organizing the Electrical Training Room, including setup, layout, and supporting materials
Add captions to existing training videos using provided software; coordinate with the training team for video editing and transcript creation, then publish finalized content to SharePoint
Design and build a second lab board in the Accelerate Lab under guidance from engineering and training staff
Help develop an aptitude test for Electrical and Controls Technician candidates to support the interview process
Compile and help standardize a list of virtual machines (VMs) and software used across product lines; assist with initial VM creation and setup
Review, organize, and clean up SharePoint documentation to improve usability and overall effectiveness of Abacus (AI Search Tool)
Qualification
Required
In process of degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred
Ability to assemble both mechanical and electrical components according to prints and sketches
Possess the written, verbal, and interaction skills necessary to work both independently and cooperatively
Possess basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication
Familiarity with PLCs, HMI's, as well as AC and Servo Drives
