Responsibilities
Execute purification process development studies in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Laboratory Batch Records (LBRs)
Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
Document experimental procedures, observations, and outcomes in lab notebooks and digital databases
Collaborate with development scientists and cross-functional team members to advance project goals
Maintain and monitor laboratory equipment; troubleshoot issues as needed
Work independently with minimal supervision following training
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in a relevant scientific discipline
Comfortable with routine laboratory operations and documentation systems such as BPRs and SOPs
Strong record-keeping and communication skills
General knowledge of laboratory techniques used in protein purification
Hands-on experience (1–2 years) with AKTA Explorer/Pure liquid chromatography systems
Ability to troubleshoot typical problems encountered during routine lab operations
