Responsibilities
Research, drafting, analysis and observational opportunities in commercial contracts (i.e. non-disclosure, services, licensing and event agreements)
Research, drafting, analysis and observational opportunities in corporate governance and securities transactions
Research, drafting, analysis and observational opportunities in insurance regulation and compliance
Research, drafting, analysis and observational opportunities in real estate transactions
Research, drafting, analysis and observational opportunities in litigation
Research, drafting, analysis and observational opportunities in employment
Research, drafting, analysis and observational opportunities in privacy and data security
Research, drafting, analysis and observational opportunities in international transactions
Research, drafting, analysis and observational opportunities in public policy
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program to receive a Juris Doctor degree
Completed at least one year of legal coursework on a full-time or part-time basis
Sit in the top 1/3 of their law school class
Interest in corporate law and a desire to gain hands-on experience in an in-house legal practice
A growth mindset: a desire to be challenged and learn new things
A positive attitude and the ability to work proactively in a team
Strong communication skills
The ability to work efficiently and independently
A desire to take ownership of projects, meet deadlines and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
Strong critical thinking skills and an analytical approach
