Responsibilities
Resolve high-priority technical issues by investigating unfamiliar problems, researching solutions, and collaborating across engineering and investment teams to ensure resiliency and stability
Contribute to Global Multi-Batch, a firm-wide initiative to modernize overnight processing and enable accurate start-of-day and intraday views of positions, cash, FX, and analytics across global regions
Work directly with portfolio managers, traders, and investment operations to design solutions aligned to front-office and middle-office needs
Engineer across the stack—including APIs, databases, and services—to improve the reliability and scalability of trading and post-trade systems
Share knowledge, mentor peers, and help continuously improve the team’s engineering practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (required)
Hands-on experience in the asset management or investment management industry (required)—including familiarity with investment data, trading workflows, and portfolio or post-trade systems
7+ years of professional experience as a software or systems engineer, with strong computer science fundamentals
Proficiency in modern development (e.g., .NET, C#, or Java), relational databases, and REST APIs
Comfort working across unfamiliar systems and collaborating with both technical and business users
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Preferred
Experience with Charles River Development (CRD) or similar platforms is a strong plus
