Data Scientist, Business Marketing Analytics - Remote (20)
itD is seeking a Data Scientist to support Meta’s Business Marketing Group by delivering high-impact analytics that drive advertiser best-practice adoption and revenue growth. The role involves translating complex data into actionable insights and managing multiple analytics projects to inform marketing strategy and effectiveness.

Responsibilities
Partner with the Scaled Business Marketing team to support revenue growth by promoting advertiser best-practice adoption through data-driven insights
Gather and translate business requirements into meaningful analyses, statistical models, and experimentation frameworks to guide marketing strategy
Query large datasets and conduct exploratory data analysis to identify drivers of impact, correlations, and opportunities for increased marketing effectiveness
Analyze and interpret results from experiments (e.g., A/B tests, lift studies) to inform optimization and future testing opportunities
Manage analytics requests and priorities independently while supporting multiple concurrent projects in a cross-functional environment
Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders through presentations, dashboards, and written documentation
Document queries, analyses, and inbound requests to support long-term improvements to BMG’s data infrastructure and analytical workflows
Ensure analyses comply with existing data policy restrictions and clearly communicate analytical limitations when applicable
Attend regular internal practice community meetings
Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership
Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material)
Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice
Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual)
Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field
7+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or a related discipline
4+ years of hands-on experience writing complex SQL queries
Strong proficiency in Python and/or R for analysis, modeling, and experimentation
Demonstrated ability to derive actionable business insights and recommendations from data
Experience translating high-level business requirements into meaningful analyses, visualizations, and analytical tools
Proven ability to communicate complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience managing multiple projects independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Preferred
MBA or graduate degree in a quantitative field
5+ years of statistical experience, including attribution modeling, A/B testing, or lift analysis
Experience supporting marketing, MarTech, or SMB-focused analytics initiatives
Background working with experimentation frameworks and forecasting models at scale
