Conflicts Attorney
Lewis Brisbois is a full-service AmLaw 100 firm seeking a Conflicts Attorney to work in their Orange County, CA office. The role involves reviewing conflict check reports, advising on potential conflicts of interest, and ensuring compliance with the firm's conflicts and risk management policies for new hires.

Responsibilities
Reviewing conflict check reports
Identifying, advising, analyzing and resolving potential conflicts of interest
Working directly with attorneys to clear conflicts related to the hiring of new partners, associates, paralegals, and other firm hires
Ensuring new hires are compliant with the Firm's conflicts and risk management policies and procedures
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctorate degree (JD) and active member of the Bar, in good standing, in the State of California
At least three (3) to ten (10) years of experience as a Lateral Conflicts Attorney in a large law firm setting with demonstrated research and complex problem-solving skills, or at least three (3) years of experience as a general Conflicts Attorney with one (1) year of cumulative experience related to the clearance of lateral hires
Familiarity with the Rules of Professional Conduct
Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive data; excellent verbal and written communications skills with strong organizational and analytical skills
Close attention to detail, collaborative team member, self-motivated and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Preferred
Experience with LawTime and/or Aderant is preferred, though not required
