Responsibilities
Provide assistance for the installation and commissioning of any equipment and components
Carry out service calls on a preventative and reactive basis as required, undertaking service and repair of products and systems to deliver against customers’ requirements
Keep accurate records regarding job progress, delays, problems, deliveries, changes, extras, and engineering and fabrication errors
Report back on the completed projects outlining the activities carried out, faults found during service and any future recommendations for improving the service offering
Train customer staff in methods to maintain and repair the equipment, to ensure knowledge is transferred
Conduct audits at customer sites to record and analyze process improvement opportunities
Qualification
Required
4+ Years Experience in the field with Quality Control Systems (QCS), instrumentation, electromechanics, or mechatronics
A technical school diploma in instrumentation, electromechanics, or mechatronics
A University or Collegial Degree in electronics, electromechanics, or instrumentation
Valid driver's license and the ability to travel up to 80% in Service region
Responsiveness to after-hours customer inquiries if on-call
