Senior Finance Manager

The Senior Finance Manager will play a critical role in financial planning, analysis, reporting and supporting strategic initiatives including mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and operational improvements.

Responsibilities

Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and monthly/quarterly financial analysis
Develop financial models to support strategic business decisions, capital investments, and growth initiatives
Perform detailed variance analysis of revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, and cash flow
Prepare executive-level financial presentations and dashboards for global leadership
Support full-cycle M&A activity, including financial modeling, due diligence, valuation analysis and synergy assessments
Assist in developing integration plans and financial reporting structures for acquired entities
Perform post-acquisition performance tracking and financial consolidation support
Partner with accounting to support month-end close, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
Assist with consolidated financial statements and management reporting packages
Ensure accuracy of financial data and maintain integrity across systems and processes
Assist with collection of outstanding Accounts Receivables and manage aging report
Participate in annual audits and compliance-related activities
Collaborate with global leaders to drive data-informed decision-making
Analyze business performance, trends, and KPIs to provide actionable insights
Support operational teams with financial guidance related to pricing, cost optimization, and resource allocation
Contribute to long-term strategic planning and corporate development initiatives
Expand responsibilities over time to include treasury, cash management, strategic corporate development, and investor relations
Participate in leadership-level initiatives, system implementations, and scalability projects
Position is designed to evolve into a future Director/VP Finance/CFO role for North America as the company continues expansion

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
5+ years' finance experience in the retail, E-Comm and distribution industries A MUST
Hands-on experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic analysis
Stellar general accounting skills, i.e., month/quarter/year end close, JE, GL, reconciliations
Extensive knowledge and experience with M&A transactions a MUST
Strong understanding of GAAP, accounting concepts and financial reporting
Ability to work independently in a remote environment and support cross-functional global teams
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to executives
Advanced Excel modeling and QuickBooks skills required
