Responsibilities
Provide recommendations, solutions, and thought leadership for assigned categories
Lead and develop weekly reporting for team managers and customers as assigned
Utilize syndicated data insights to interface frequently with buyers and be recognized as a category expert
Develop weekly, quarterly, and annual forecasts for POS shipments by category and track performance and projections
Utilize information to build annual operating plan assumptions
Conduct deep analytics on new item launches and partner with the Business Unit and team on key insights
Develop and publish seasonal business trackers
Direct all activities with the customer related to optimal promotional planning
Recommend trade efficiency opportunities and regional pricing initiatives based on trade analytics and market assessment
Develop and maintain customer Joint Business Planning (JBP) files for weekly updates to said customers
Leverage syndicated data to conduct market assessments and develop regional category recommendations about assortment, pricing, and merchandising
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
5 plus years of relevant experience with Category or Customer Management experience within the CPG industry
Sales planning tools software
High proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
