Electromechanical Assembler

Richard Wolf Medical Instruments Corporation is currently seeking an Electromechanical Assembler. The Electromechanical Assembler will assemble and test electromechanical devices including pneumatic, electronic, mechanical, and video components.

Responsibilities

Ability to perform mechanical skills such as soldering, grinding, buffing, gluing, and cleaning with various solutions and adhesives
Perform maintenance on equipment and work areas used by department as needed
Ability to assist with the repair, testing, and alignment of electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, video imaging and HF devices
Prepare, cut, and strip wire and tubing per print
Clean, pack and process Electromechanical finished goods
Perform controlled access room (clean room) component cleaning and packaging duties
Ability to operate manufacturing equipment as required for processes (lathe, milling, hammering, punch presses, pneumatic, grinding, polishing and testing devices, etc.)
Perform equipment and room cleaning as needed
Complete daily production documentation
Ability to perform laser welding for various electromechanical devices as needed
Aware of and comply with the RWMIC Quality Manual and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
Other duties as assigned by Production Manager – Electromechanical

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
1 - 2 years of manufacturing assembly or 1 year of small parts assembly experience
Ability to work with small parts
Ability to work with magnification equipment such as microscopes, eye loops, etc
Ability to read Blueprints
Basic understanding of measuring devices and ability to use calipers, gauges, micrometers, etc
Basic PC Skills
The following physical demands are required: Stand/Sit/Walk 8 hours per day, Lift/Carry up to 25 pounds, Bend/Stoop/Kneel 4 hours per day, Push/Pull up to 50 pounds

Preferred

Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) preferred
Basic understanding of electronic measuring equipment such as digital multimeters, preferred
