Responsibilities

Review a payload's safety data pack and hazard reports for phased safety reviews in support of the International Space Station Safety Review Panel (ISRP). Comments are made from the perspective of crew operational hazard controls

Review crew procedures, ground command procedures, flight rules, and crew training to ensure implementation of operational hazard controls approved at the ISRP

Document operational hazard controls and their implementations along with toxicity information, required levels of containment, and fire detection and suppression approach in database that produces a Payload Hazard Control Matrix (PHCM)

Bachelor of Science Degree

Some degree of leadership is expected
