Responsibilities
Create, modify, and release NX CNC lathe programs for 2–4 axis turning operations
Support machinists during prove-out and validate programs at the machine
Troubleshoot and adjust programs based on on-machine results and inspection feedback
Develop and maintain CNC-related documentation using Word and Excel
Support machining of aerospace metal parts through program optimization and revision control
Qualification
Required
4–5+ years of NX CNC programming experience for lathes (turning)
Experience programming 2–4 axis CNC lathes
Experience programming metal-cutting processes for aerospace machined parts
Willingness to work on the production floor with machinists to proof and refine CNC programs
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Preferred
Experience supporting first-article prove-out and production launch for turned aerospace components
Experience optimizing turning cycles for quality, tool life, and cycle time
Experience troubleshooting machining issues during prove-out (feeds/speeds, tooling, workholding)
