Responsibilities
Own and continuously evolve a global SEO strategy aligned with AIR’s growth objectives, brand architecture, and regional market needs
Define and maintain a global SEO roadmap covering technical SEO, content, authority building, and search experience optimization
Establish SEO governance, standards, and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability across all AIR-owned brands and markets
Anticipate and respond to major search engine, algorithmic, and AI-driven shifts, proactively adapting strategy to protect and grow organic visibility
Leverage AI-powered tools and workflows to improve keyword research, content ideation, internal linking, and performance forecasting
Stay ahead of emerging trends such as generative search experiences (e.g., AI overviews), entity-based SEO, and conversational search behavior
Partner with Product and Engineering to explore AI-supported SEO enhancements, automation opportunities, and scalable optimization frameworks
Lead regular technical SEO audits across multiple platforms and regions, ensuring optimal crawlability, indexation, performance, and structured data implementation
Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product teams to influence platform decisions, site architecture, and new feature development from an SEO-first perspective
Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals, mobile performance, and international SEO signals (e.g., hreflang, localization strategies)
Help define and own a global content strategy that supports SEO, brand positioning, and user intent across the full funnel (awareness to conversion)
Identify content opportunities through gap analysis, search intent mapping, and competitive research
Personally contribute to content creation where needed using AI tools, including long-form editorial pieces, strategic landing pages, guides, and SEO-driven thought leadership content
Partner with regional teams and external contributors to ensure content quality, relevance, and alignment with global standards
Oversee on-page optimization efforts across product pages, category structures, editorial content, and landing pages
Define scalable internal linking frameworks that strengthen topical authority and improve crawl efficiency
Ensure consistent implementation of metadata, headings, schema, and SEO best practices across brands and regions
Define SEO success metrics and reporting standards across brands and regions
Analyze performance data to surface insights, risks, and opportunities, translating complex findings into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders
Use data to continuously refine strategy, prioritize initiatives, and demonstrate the business impact of SEO investments
Act as a senior SEO subject-matter expert across the organization, partnering with Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Regional Teams
Educate stakeholders on SEO and AI-search implications, fostering a shared understanding of how organic search supports growth
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members or external partners where applicable
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
6-8+ years of SEO experience, with demonstrated ownership of strategy in complex, multi-brand or international environments
Proven experience driving sustainable organic growth at scale, across both B2C and B2B contexts
Strong command of technical SEO, including site architecture, structured data, performance optimization, and international SEO
Demonstrated ability to craft content strategy and personally create high-quality SEO-driven content
Practical experience with AI-powered SEO and content tools, and a strong understanding of how AI is reshaping search behavior
Advanced proficiency with SEO and analytics tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, similar platforms)
Experience working with modern CMS and e-commerce platforms
Highly analytical, structured, and comfortable operating in ambiguity while influencing senior stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a remote, globally distributed environment
