Eaton’s GEIS division is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Manager. This role involves leading the engineering department, developing strategic plans, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

Serve as an active member of the Highland Senior Leadership team, fulfilling leadership duties and providing input for strategy, direction & continuous improvement by leveraging the Eaton Leadership Competencies and Attributes and Lean Tools

Develop strategic plans to identify and address current and future challenges for department & plant around engineering and maintenance processes

Conduct performance reviews to improve organizational performance - Manage Engineering Department, including Manufacturing Engineering, Systems Engineering, Tool Design, Maintenance and Program Management

Assist with timely development and implementation of operating capacity plan, facilities programs, business systems, product changes, and introductions

Manage, develop, recommend, and implement approved capital programs to support the profit and strategic plans

Direct engineering services in implementing changes to all factory operations through Industry 4.0 - Provide support for EHS procedures and training, to drive a Zero Incident Culture across the plant. Serve as a MESH Category Champion, as assigned

Initiate, support and lead continuous improvement activities within the department through effective deployment of assessment and lean tools (VSM, RIE, A3, WSRA, PFMEA and other EBS Tools) to drive efficiency and results

Schedule, lead and communicate departmental priorities with the team and coordinate activities with other functions within the plant

Execute flawless launch of new products and or product lines as required

Required

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Science, or related field

Minimum three (3) years of direct managing people experience

Minimum five (5) years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role
