Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team while fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
Oversee the full close process, ensuring timely and accurate journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations across systems
Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP, performing variance analysis to support business insights
Advise on complex transactions, ensuring proper treatment and clear communication with leadership
Strengthen SOX compliance, streamline accounting processes, and drive automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
CPA required
8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting, with preferred background in construction or project-based environments
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems with deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SOX requirements, and internal control frameworks
Deep understanding of financial close processes, technical accounting, and audit coordination
Strategic, detail-oriented leader with strong communication skills and a proven ability to lead teams, improve processes, and deliver results

Background in construction or project-based environments
