Altinity, Inc. is looking for a Cloud Service Site Reliability Engineer to contribute to the development of Altinity.Cloud, a cloud service for managed ClickHouse. The role involves supporting and developing core services, troubleshooting customer issues, and working on long-term projects to solve complex problems.

Responsibilities

Going On-Call, troubleshooting customer issues, and helping them resolve infrastructure challenges

Support and develop core services

Support and develop a Platform (Golang) to provision and operate tenants

Long-term projects to investigate complex problems, develop solutions for them

Required

You are interested in all things cloud and understand the plumbing that makes cloud applications work

You know how to deploy and operate public-facing, container-based services

You work easily with remote engineers

Proven operational skills on Kubernetes and public clouds, including AWS

Outstanding knowledge of networking (including DNS, load-balancers, peering), storage, and compute

Good programming skills in Golang

Experienced in automating service deployment using CI/CD pipelines and Terraform

Able to recommend and implement HA and DR strategies for stateful services

Comfortable working in secure environments (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI) and well-versed in ground-level technologies to protect them

Flexible and eager to learn new technologies
