The Quality Assurance Technician will ensure the quality and safety of raw materials and finished products, working cross-functionally to uphold regulatory standards and support continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Ensure Quality & Compliance: Audit daily production processes, verify equipment like check weighers and metal detectors, and maintain regulatory standards

Data & Analysis: Collect, record, and analyze data to support continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives

Product Testing & Validation: Conduct ingredient validation versus Certificates of Analysis and support testing for product and packaging changes

Collaboration & Training: Work alongside production teams, assist with training, and contribute to troubleshooting and corrective actions

Innovation & Development: Gain hands-on experience in confectionery technology, quality assurance processes, and operational excellence

Required

Minimum High School diploma with 2+ years of experience in a technical role in Food or FDA regulated manufacturing environment (Quality and/or Lab experience a plus)

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Proficiency in MS Word and Excel

Basic understanding of lab and manufacturing equipment

Ability to move safely within office and plant environments

Clear communication skills for effective collaboration

Flexibility to work extended hours and occasional weekends as needed
