CNC Machinist/Programmer III (Thrusters) - A Shift
Blue Origin is working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems for the benefit of Earth. They are looking for a CNC Machinist/Programmer III to apply technical expertise and leadership skills to ensure quality and safety in human spaceflight operations.

Provide Design for Manufacturing feedback
Work with CNC programming and multi-axis machines
Qualification
Required
Seven (7) years related CNC experience
Two (2) years' experience with multi axis machines
CNC programming skills, preferably NX 10 thru 2306
Experience with one or more of the following CNC machines: Mazak, Hass, DMG Mori, Mori Seiki, Hermle, G+F and/or Okuma
Working knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens, OSP or other CNC controls
Excellent blue print reading skills including GD&T per ASME Y14.5M-1994 standard
Familiar with use of personal computers
Ability to provide Design for Manufacturing feedback
Must be physically able to climb ladders, stairs, work in small/restricted areas, and lift and carry 25 lbs
Preferred
Two (2) years' experience with CNC programming
Tooling and fixture design
Multi-Axis Turning experience
Mill-turn experience
Outside processing knowledge including: heat treat, brazing, EB/laser welding, EDM, grinding, etc
CMM programming/operation experience
Conversational programming on the machine
Experience operating heavy lifting equipment such as cranes and forklifts
