The Scion Group is a leader in student living, and they are seeking a talented Investment Associate to join their investments team. This senior role focuses on financial modeling, research, and communication with external constituents related to transactions and portfolio management initiatives.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review financial models to analyze prospective origination opportunities under various investment structures

Gather and evaluate economic, demographic, and macro fundamental data to aid senior management in effective business decisions

Provide corporate support to Asset Management and Investment Management team members to assess monthly performance and determine key trends

Conduct general portfolio management analysis and provide work product on an established, recurring frequency to internal and external stake holders

Leverage presentation software, data visualization techniques and communication skills to generate external and internal reports

Establish and maintain relationships with 3rd party consultants, investment sales community, equity and debt partners

Conduct transaction due diligence by collecting, reviewing, and summarizing various property diligence reports, leases, property financial information, and other due diligence documents

Establish workflow with asset management and property operations upon asset transition

Mentor a team of junior analysts with a focus on fostering financial modeling acumen, cross departmental working relationships, and transaction related procedures
