Responsibilities
Lead 4G/5G product and feature requirements, system design, and performance analysis
Conduct deep-dive technical sessions and support virtualized network deployments
Translate customer requirements into detailed system and design specifications
Analyze and troubleshoot 4G/5G call processing and air-interface issues, including chipset IODT lab and field testing
Support pre-sales technical activities and develop compelling technical solutions
Serve as a technical liaison between sales, carrier network teams, and HQ
Educate customers on products and ensure delivery against commitments
Collaborate with cross-functional teams; limited travel as required
Recognized SME capable of driving complex technical solutions
Strong communication and presentation skills
Qualification
Required
12+ years of wireless industry experience
Bachelor's degree in EE/CS or related field
Strong expertise in 4G/5G RAN architecture, air interface, and call processing
Experience with system engineering: feature definition, optimization, performance analysis, test strategy, and troubleshooting
Solid understanding of 5G technologies (Massive MIMO, beamforming, LTE–NR interworking, numerologies)
Familiarity with 3GPP Rel-15/16
Deep knowledge of protocol layers: PHY, MAC, RLC, RRC, PDCP
Hands-on experience with tools such as XCAL, QXDM, Wireshark, Channel Emulators
Strong understanding of 3GPP Core and RAN networks
Strong communication and presentation skills
Preferred
advanced degree preferred
SW development and HW/SW architecture experience is a plus
