Senior Controls Engineer
Owens & Minor is a Fortune 500 company that plays a critical role in the healthcare process. They are seeking a Senior Controls Engineer who will be responsible for technology development and maintenance, project results, and people direction and development.

Responsibilities
Provides leadership for the electrical issues in the mill and collaborates with a cross functional team to identify, prioritize and correct areas that could impact business results
Manages self and/or team in accordance with the One Halyard Behaviors
Manages the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large scale projects
Manages scope and mitigates risk across the facility
Effectively achieves results that meet business and individual objectives
Provides technical expertise in the design, development, and construction of production processes and equipment
Prepares and manages budgets and schedules related to projects
Completes all work in a safe manner consistent with Halyard safety & quality protocols
Manages multiple external partners (i.e. Engineering Service Providers, Equipment vendors, etc.)
Is flexible on work hours and travel required to support problems and technology development
Qualification
Required
Extensive experience with program logic controller
Experience with control systems
Experience with industrial controls
Experience with instrumentation
Experience with drives and HMI programming
Leadership for electrical issues in the mill
Collaboration with a cross functional team to identify, prioritize and correct areas impacting business results
Management of self and/or team in accordance with the One Halyard Behaviors
Management of day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large scale projects
Management of scope and mitigation of risk across the facility
Achievement of results that meet business and individual objectives
Technical expertise in the design, development, and construction of production processes and equipment
