Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing timely and accurate information regarding products, pricing, and lead times
Process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency from order entry to delivery
Prepare and follow up on quotes, proposals, and purchase orders
Identify and pursue opportunities to expand business within existing accounts, aiming to increase revenue and market share
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and objectives and develop tailored solutions to meet those needs
Assist in identifying new sales opportunities and market trends
Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to deliver high-quality products and services
Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability while ensuring client satisfaction
Regularly assess account performance, providing reports and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders
Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by clients promptly and effectively
Communicate with 603 Manufacturing Sales Representatives, as necessary, on associated accounts

Required

Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, or a relevant field
5+ years of proven experience as a Strategic Account Manager or in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing or related industry
Strong background in sales and customer service, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts effectively
Knowledge of wire harness and cable assembly products is helpful
Experience with quoting and order processing
Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
Ability to analyze market trends and client needs to develop strategic plans
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite
Proficiency in using sales software and ERP systems
