Circuit Logistics Support EIS Transition

Responsibilities
Lead and support circuit logistics planning and execution for DHS EIS transition efforts
Contribute to network design and architecture planning to ensure seamless integration of new circuits into existing infrastructure
Assist in EIS transition planning, including documentation, scheduling, and coordination with stakeholders
Perform and oversee hardware and software installation, configuration, and validation
Troubleshoot and resolve complex circuit and network issues to ensure optimal performance
Support cloud migration efforts, ensuring compatibility and performance of network circuits in hybrid environments
Maintain expertise in various network circuits and topologies, including MPLS, Ethernet, VPN, and SD-WAN
Track and report circuit status, inventory, and logistics milestones using designated systems
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and program teams to ensure successful circuit transitions and service delivery
Promote continuous improvement in IT service quality, efficiency, and compliance with federal standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
7-9 years of relevant experience in circuit logistics, network infrastructure, or telecommunications support
Strong understanding of network topologies, circuit types, and EIS transition requirements
Experience with hardware/software installation and troubleshooting in enterprise environments
Familiarity with cloud migration strategies and hybrid network environments
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
Preferred
Experience supporting DHS or other federal agencies
Knowledge of EIS contract vehicles and federal IT modernization initiatives
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, PMP, ITIL)
