Responsibilities
Diagnose and perform minor or routine preventative maintenance or repair on all units and equipment
Remove and transfer heavy appliances and equipment from storage area to apartment (or vice versa) as circumstances warrant
Inspect and help coordinate all needed make-ready repairs and services of apartments after move out
Use expert knowledge to abide by pertinent laws and EPA and OSHA regulations governing proper storage and management of hazardous materials
Create and assist with work orders to ensure they are completed in a timely manner
Schedule vendors and contractors/responsible for curb appeal
Ensure all amenities and grounds are finished and ready for review
Walk move-outs to assess damages/issues and reports results to the Maintenance Supervisor
Qualification
Required
Two or more years of experience in related field
EPA, OSHA, Fair Housing, and pool certification required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to use good judgment and possess strong problem-solving skills
Works as part of a team, as well as completes assignments independently
Ability to operate a computer, phone system and general office equipment
Must be able to take calls for emergency requests
Must have a valid driver's license and daily transportation for getting supplies and other duties
May need to drive a golf cart
