Responsibilities
Produce electrical designs for utility scale solar projects including single line diagrams, schematics and equipment details
Run system studies such as load flow, fault current, grounding and arc flash analysis
Review drawings, calculations and reports to meet NEC, IEEE and utility standards
Work with project managers and other engineering disciplines to deliver complete project packages
Support equipment specifications for inverters, transformers, switchgear and MV systems
Prepare documentation for permitting and interconnection
Assist with commissioning and troubleshooting during installation and start up
Qualification
Required
Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
Strong experience in utility scale solar
Proficiency with PVsyst, ETAP, AutoCAD or similar tools
Strong understanding of utility interconnection requirements
Ability to work independently and manage tasks through full project cycles
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Preferred
Experience with high voltage systems, SCADA or BESS integration
Familiarity with permitting or regulatory compliance
