Analyst/Sr Analyst, Domestic Banking

American Airlines is a leading airline company seeking an Analyst/Sr Analyst for their Corporate Treasury team. This role focuses on daily cash management, liquidity positioning, and execution of critical Treasury transactions to ensure operational excellence and safeguard company assets.

Responsibilities

Manage daily cash positioning and liquidity requirements across all domestic bank accounts
Coordinate investments and redemptions within the short-term investment portfolio
Execute and oversee Treasury-related payments, including aircraft closings, debt principal and interest, investment transactions, and M&A activity
Review ACH debit activity and monitor domestic banking fraud controls to mitigate risk
Serve as backup for the Sr. Manager on Treasury cash forecasting processes
Ensure proper connectivity and optimization of current-day and prior-day bank statement reporting in the GTreasury system
Collaborate with internal teams and banking partners to resolve issues and enhance Treasury operations
Support compliance with internal controls and audit requirements
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or other related field
3 years of experience across treasury and/or banking industries
Strong understanding of cash management, liquidity, and payment processes
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities

Preferred

Familiarity with Treasury Management Systems (GTreasury experience preferred)
