Responsibilities
Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and business succession plans — ensuring tax-efficient wealth transfer and family/business continuity
Administer estates and trusts — handling probate filings, asset distribution, fiduciary accountings, and compliance
Litigate probate & fiduciary disputes — including will contests, breach of fiduciary duty claims, accounting actions, and Chancery proceedings
Advise on complex estate matters — coordinating with experts, negotiating settlements, and resolving conflicts in pre-litigation or trial settings
Collaborate on integrated planning — blending estate, tax, and business strategies to deliver comprehensive solutions for high-net-worth clients
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active New Jersey bar admission
Experience in trusts and estates law, including estate planning and probate litigation
Strong drafting skills for wills, trusts, and related documents
Ability to manage and administer estates and trusts
Litigation experience in probate and fiduciary disputes
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Preferred
Experience with business succession planning
Familiarity with tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies
Background in handling high-net-worth client matters
Prior experience in a boutique law firm setting
