Technical Trainer
Eos Energy Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Technical Trainer to develop and deliver technical training programs for employees. Responsibilities
Create and maintain training resources: user manuals, troubleshooting guides, job aids, presentations, videos and hands-on assessments
Teach technical skills using a variety of instructional methods, including lectures, workshops, hands-on demonstrations and skill assessments
Assess employee performance and provide feedback and coaching to improve their technical understanding and proficiency
Evaluate candidates through interviews and skill assessments for hire and enrollment into internal training programs
Provide oversight for apprenticeship and internal training programs, ensuring effective implementation, mentorship, and alignment with organizational goals
Collaborate with engineering, production and quality teams to stay current on product updates and identify training requirements
Be prepared to support production work during surge periods
Ability to flex schedule to provide training coverage to various shifts as needed
Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure training content is relevant
Produce training schedules and classroom agendas
Ensure trainings records are up to date and readily available to operations staff
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
Minimum of 5 years' experience required
Experience with electrical circuits, AC/DC theory, automation and safety protocols
Preferred
Previous experience as a trainer or instructor delivering adult learning sessions
Experience using learning management systems (LMS)
