This role supports the structural engineering group by producing accurate, high-quality construction documents for low-rise and mid-rise commercial and industrial projects.

Responsibilities
Prepare complete structural construction documents, including foundation plans, framing plans, sections, and detailed drawings based on engineered sketches and company standards
Collaborate closely with structural engineers to translate design intent into clear, buildable drawings
Coordinate structural drawings with architectural, civil, and other discipline-specific project team members
Maintain company drafting and documentation standards across all projects
Participate in quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) reviews to ensure accuracy and consistency
Incorporate redlines, revisions, and updates efficiently throughout the design and construction process
Occasionally assist engineers with field measurements, site visits, and inspections as needed
Qualification
Required
Associate's Degree or equivalent in drafting and design, architecture, or engineering from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 5 years of experience drafting low-rise and mid-rise buildings
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Revit (Revit certifications preferred but not required)
Experience working both independently and collaboratively in an office-based team environment
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
