Responsibilities
Own and manage the company's Vanta platform, ensuring continuous compliance with SOC 2 requirements
Lead security questionnaires, due diligence requests, and sales-related security assessments
Partner with Legal to support security, compliance, and contractual matters
Oversee light IT functions, including device provisioning and user access management
Maintain and continuously improve core compliance programs, including SOC 2, GDPR, and CCPA
Qualification
Required
2–6 years of experience in compliance, audit, risk, or governance
Prior compliance experience within a B2B SaaS startup environment
Experience supporting a growing or mid-stage startup (60+ employees preferred)
Hands-on experience with Vanta and SOC 2 compliance
Experience in completing sales security assessments and responding to customer questionnaires
Comfort maintaining and optimizing existing compliance programs rather than building from scratch
Strong ownership mindset, project management skills, and ability to navigate ambiguity with clear communication
Preferred
Experience supporting a growing or mid-stage startup (60+ employees preferred)
Familiarity with DPAs and SLAs is strongly preferred
IT experience is a plus
