Responsibilities
Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems
Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support
Organize and maintain IT resources
Lend IT support in areas such as cybersecurity, programming, analytics, and data center management
Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulatory bodies, as well as accrediting agencies
Complies with all federal, state, and local regulatory agency requirements
Complies with all accrediting agencies
Participate in community and public relations activities as assigned
Attend and complete all required trainings as assigned by manager
Continuous exploration of knowledge through related field
Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment
Qualification
Required
The Help Desk Intern must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
be currently enrolled in a degree program closely related to the field
A basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and operating systems is required
Education and licensing in closely related field
Self-starter with good time management and prioritization skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organization, presentation, and analytical skills
Knowledge of IT systems, software, and procedures
Problem solving skills independently or escalate if necessary
Handle multiple tasks on a day-to-day basis if necessary
Strong organizational and management skills when dealing with companies hardware
High integrity

Ability to work independently and under pressure while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to make decisions and use proper judgment with confidential and sensitive issues
Must be able to react quickly and make effective decisions

Demonstrate basic knowledge and skill in the use of typical office equipment such as calculator, fax machine, copier, computer, telephone, and computer programs
Speaking and hearing ability sufficient to communicate effectively by phone or in person at normal volumes
Vision adequate to read correspondence, computer screen, forms, etc
Ability to sit for long periods of time, some bending, stooping, and stretching
Variable workload, periodic high stress, and activity level
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Keyboarding for long periods of time
