Payroll & HR Support Specialist
Confidential company is seeking a Payroll & HR Support Specialist to consolidate core payroll processing with HR support and clerical/IT duties. This vital role involves ensuring accurate employee onboarding, HRIS administration, and streamlining payroll operations while maintaining compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities
Run accurate payroll cycles and maintain records in Paycom; assist with W‑2/quarterlies and reconciliations and any other compliance items needed in Paycom
Coordinate new‑hire onboarding and orientation; manage policy acknowledgments and personnel documentation consistent with the Employee Handbook. Facilitate new hire onboarding at our HR office assisting with logins for various systems and teaching the history of the company and our core values
Perform data entry and account reconciliation tasks related to payroll, benefits administration, uniform ordering and deductions, and supply ordering
Assist with benefits administration including enrollment, changes, and inquiries to support employee satisfaction
Audit various documentation for compliance purposes on paper and in the HRIS system
Support HR functions by updating employee records within HRIS platforms and assisting with onboarding/offboarding processes. During these tasks you will need to be comfortable setting up Ipads and Computers with the proper systems needed. Occasionally reaching out to apple business support as needed
Conduct analysis of payroll data to identify discrepancies or errors; resolve issues promptly through technical accounting procedures
Assist in preparing reports on payroll expenses, benefits costs, overtime, employee timecard punches and other items as assigned for management review
Occasionally move around from store to store as required for compliance walks with the HR Manager
Ability to work in an office where there is interruption throughout the day, moving up and down from your desk to answer the door with a positive attitude, no matter what task you may be in the middle of. Maintaining the HR team is the standard of the company culture we want to portray!
Qualification
Required
2–3 years combined payroll/HR experience; dealership experience a plus!
Proven experience working with payroll management systems such as Paycom, Workday, ADP, Paychex or similar platforms
Strong knowledge of payroll processes including tax experience and benefits administration
Understanding of human resources information systems (HRIS) such as Paycom, Workday, UltiPro or PeopleSoft is highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to perform data entry accurately with a focus on working proficiently in Microsoft Office applications
Excellent people skills, analysis skills with attention to detail
Strong organizational skills combined with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong documentation and confidentiality discipline
