Responsibilities
Design water and wastewater systems, including pipelines, pump stations, and treatment plant improvements
Prepare plans, specifications, and reports consistent with project scope, schedule, and budget
Develop solutions to complex engineering challenges using sound technical judgment and creative problem-solving
Collaborate with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective designs
Review and provide guidance on the work of Engineer Interns and peers to ensure technical accuracy and consistency
Participate in the Jones Edmunds Quality Program, performing reviews to ensure deliverables meet company, industry, and client standards
Communicate regularly with supervisors and clients regarding project progress, challenges, and solutions
Engage in continuing professional development to stay current with emerging technologies and regulatory requirements
Qualification
Required
BS in Engineering from an accredited college or university
Florida Professional Engineer (PE) required
4+ years of progressive consulting or related professional experience (MS may substitute for 1 year; PhD for 2 years)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR
Preferred
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydraulic modeling software
