This role involves overseeing the installation of network infrastructure, ensuring a solid foundation for various communication systems while leading a team of junior technicians.

Responsibilities
Client Communication: Translate complex technical jargon into plain English for business owners and site managers
System Design & Configuration (40%): Design network topologies for client sites. Configure routers, firewalls, and switches (Ubiquiti, Mikrotik, etc.). Set up Cloud VoIP systems and troubleshoot legacy PBX interfaces
Physical Installation (40%): This is a hands-on role. You will lead by example on ladders and lifts—pulling Cat6/Fiber, mounting cameras, installing racks, and terminating endpoints
Team Leadership (20%): Supervise junior technicians on-site, perform final system validations, and ensure "start-to-finish" quality control
Qualification
Required
Proven experience with Subnetting, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Port Forwarding, and Firewall rules
Experience with Cloud VoIP deployment (RingCentral, Teams, etc.) is essential
Proficiency in cable termination (RJ45, Keystone), cable management, and reading site plans
Own basic hand tools (snips, punch down, drivers)
Valid driver's license with a clean record
Understand the flow of data just as well as the cable path
Preferred
Second language is a plus, preferably Spanish or French
