Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
Provide guidance, direction, and support to team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and identify opportunities for professional development
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including product development, manufacturing, and quality assurance to drive project success
Monitor project timelines and resource allocation, identifying and addressing potential risks and obstacles
Apply deep knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and HVAC systems to provide technical guidance and solutions
Review and approve engineering designs, specifications, and documentation ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporating innovative approaches to enhance product performance and competitiveness
Identify opportunities to streamline engineering processes and workflows, driving efficiencies and cost savings
Champion a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to propose and implement innovative ideas
Collaborate with internal stakes holders such as sales, marketing, and customer support to address customer needs and market demands
Communicate effectively with senior management, providing regular updates on project status, performance metrics, and strategic initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Minimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience in an engineering role, preferably within the HVAC manufacturing industry
Strong Technical Expertise in mechanical engineering principles and HVAC systems
Proven track record of successfully leading and managing engineering teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
Ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and drive results in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in project management tools and software
Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development
