Quality Inspector - Rotomold
Mainstream Engineering Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable employee to help staff their rotomold facility. As a Rotomold Inspector, you will inspect large-scale commercial and military rotationally-molded parts to strict standards and document the results accurately.

Responsibilities
Perform inspections of molded parts, purchased parts, and finished products according to well-defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical measurements
Evaluate mold integrity and cleanliness based on part defects
Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing
Maintain controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner
Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper operation and calibration
Assist in the performing and updating inspection procedures, protocol and checklists
Assists in the definition of Critical to Quality (CTQ) characteristics
Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action
Work with production management to provide feedback regarding accuracy procedures
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Manual dexterity is a requirement. You must be able to stand, kneel, squat, reach, push, pull, climb and use common hand tools and devices without restriction
You must be able to lift 50lbs regularly
You will be required to work in an outdoor environment
Must have good English written and verbal communication skills
Good analytical skills and attentiveness to detail are required
Working knowledge of basic measurement instruments required
Ability to read, understand and interpret engineering drawings required
Preferred
2 years of QA/QC experience is preferred but not required
Experience with rotomold or plastic molding processes is preferred
Forklift certification is preferred
