Responsibilities
Translate customer/platform requirements into client product-level specs
Build or refine SATCOM subsystem architecture
Evaluate vendor SATCOM/RF proposals using cost-inclusive trade studies
Support technical procurement decision boards and down-select reviews
Deliver decomposition artifacts for internal engineering hand-off
Pair with and transfer procurement + decomposition knowledge to a junior Systems Engineer
Operate as solo contributor or in 1-2 person working groups in classified environments
Qualification
Required
15+ years total Systems Engineering experience
Core SATCOM systems engineering experience
RF Procurement ownership, including:
Defining or evaluating SATCOM/RF RFP requirements
Influencing vendor product down-selection
Conducting tradeoff analysis that includes cost + performance
Writing or editing SOW procurement templates
