Responsibilities
Use Python and SQL to explore, analyze, and model data to solve business problems
Support development of LLM-powered tools and applications , including:
Calling LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Vertex AI, Azure OpenAI, etc.)
Building workflows with LangChain and/or Google Agent Developer Kit (ADK)
Help implement and improve RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems, including:
Embeddings + vector databases
Retrieval strategies and prompt tuning
Assist in designing and running evaluation frameworks for LLM systems, such as:
Offline test sets
Automated metrics
Human-in-the-loop evaluation
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and iterate quickly
Qualification
Required
Strong Python fundamentals (clean, readable, maintainable code)
Experience using common data libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy)
Strong SQL skills and experience working with Google BigQuery
Solid software engineering habits (Git, testing basics, code reviews)
Some experience with Generative AI and LLMs, including: Calling LLM APIs (OpenAI / Anthropic / Vertex / etc.)
Experimenting with frameworks like LangChain and/or Google ADK
Basic understanding of RAG workflows (embeddings, vector search, retrieval)
Ability to break down vague business questions into clear analysis or modeling work
Comfortable working with incomplete data and making reasonable assumptions
Strong communicator — able to explain technical work to non-technical stakeholders
Collaborative, curious, and proactive with a bias toward action
