Responsibilities

Document and maintain client fee arrangement details through collaboration with Global Client Account, Strategic Pricing, Global Proposals teams, and Partners

Support annual client rate review processes and partner outreach in coordination with the Pricing Operations Manager

Create, maintain, and ensure the accuracy of rate cards and billing rate structures

Implement negotiated client billing arrangements and alternative fee structures within Aderant, ensuring accurate tracking, billing, and reporting

Interpret and communicate complex billing arrangements and requirements to Partners, Finance Managers, Client Account teams, and other stakeholders with minimal guidance

Operationalize both simple and complex billing arrangements in Aderant to ensure accuracy and compliance

Audit fee arrangements, billing rates, and matter setups within Aderant to confirm adherence to agreed terms

Collaborate with E-Billing teams to prepare and submit client rate sheets in accordance with approved fee arrangements

Review and interpret outside counsel guidelines, summarizing key finance-related provisions and maintaining organized reference systems

Ensure compliance with negotiated billing arrangements and client requirements by configuring guidelines, rules, and controls within Aderant

Identify opportunities to enhance compliance through the implementation of automated checks, red-flag language, and technology-driven controls

Support continuous improvement initiatives related to pricing operations, workflows, and systems

Assist with software reviews, system validations, and testing efforts as required

Implement and maintain workflows for rate management and billing compliance

Provide training, guidance, and documentation to client account teams on rate application and billing processes

Support the Pricing Operations Manager with ad hoc analyses, including timekeeper and rate-related reviews

Required

Bachelor's degree required

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in billing, e-billing, pricing, or a related role, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment

Strong attention to detail with excellent written, verbal, analytical, and organizational skills

Demonstrated aptitude for technology and commitment to continuous learning

Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as business needs require

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP), with strong skills in Word and PowerPoint
