Responsibilities
Setup/breakdown of conference spaces to meet the customers event needs
Perform preventative maintenance task to help maintain customer spaces including, but not limited to: testing/repairing cables, testing/repairing various hardware components
Field installation of control programs (AMX / Crestron/Firmware) – upload and download capability
Deliver field service support of control programs (AMX / Crestron/etc.) – minor edits (could be with the aid of a programmer), compile, upload and download capability
Perform support tasks in a timely and quality conscious manner including but not limited to: meeting support, general break-fix maintenance, video/audio recording support
Provide field service support of networked devices
Collaborate with internal/external teams in a professional manner that reflects the values of AVI-SPL
Understand and adhere to local safety standards for all site duties
Provide job site documentation and end user training and as needed
Setup and troubleshoot various audio/video/presentation systems
Travel to various job sites as required
Must be flexible to work after hours and weekends when required
Qualification
Required
Effectively communicate with employees, customers and colleagues
Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner
Ability to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines
Advanced computer knowledge (WIN/Mac)
Knowledge of signal flow for audio, video and control
Valid Driver's License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL driving standard
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be flexible to work after hours and weekends when required
Ability to regularly climb and work from ladders, lifting equipment, tools and materials
White Glove Service: Demonstrated ability to provide high-level support to director-level executives and above in a corporate setting, ensuring smooth and professional AV experiences
Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills across various AV and networking systems, ensuring quick resolution of technical issues
Customer Service: Committed to delivering exceptional customer service, with a focus on meeting the needs of corporate clients and stakeholders
Crestron Systems: Proficient in setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting Crestron systems, ensuring reliable connectivity and performance
Extron Systems : Extensive experince with deployments, intergration, and troubleshooing of Extron NAV and associted S/W
Cisco Systems : Proficient in setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting Cisco systems, ensuring reliable connectivity and performance
Networking: Skilled in setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting networked devices, with experience in LAN/WAN and VLans
Crestron, Poly, Biamp, Cisco, Extron NAV experience
UC Platforms - Teams, Zoom, Webex
A/V Programming experience (L1-L2)
Tricaster switcher, 3-4 PTZ Cameras, Audio console, and DMX Lighting
Extensive video wall experience (Planar, Christie, Barco, Samsung, Daktronics)
Preferred
Formal education in Electronics or related field preferred

Crestron Professional Installation
Exton AV Associate Certification
