Private Equity Analyst
Keswick Partners is a private equity firm focused on supporting entrepreneurs in the growth and development of their businesses. They are seeking a Private Equity Analyst to lead deal underwriting processes, develop financial models, and analyze company trends to support investment opportunities.

Responsibilities
Leading core components of the deal underwriting process, including deal structuring, due diligence, and facilitating investment committee and prospective lender requests to understand the unique risk and opportunities of each respective investment opportunity, driving deals to a close
Developing projections, forecast models, and monthly budgets for prospective and current portfolio companies
Analyzing company trends, including monitoring revenue and cost trends (i.e., price vs. volume growth, new vs. existing customer trends, drivers of profitability, etc.), working capital levels, and other financial statement items for current portfolio companies and potential targets
Preparing internal and external underwriting presentation materials for the Keswick investment committee and other third-party transaction participants
Interacting with portfolio company senior management teams to develop and improve monthly reporting packages, board presentations, budgets, implement strategic initiatives, and assess return on investment / payback period for capital expenditure proposals
Performing industry research, market analysis, and calls with subject matter experts to evaluate growth prospects, understand industry and company-specific nuances, and the competitive landscape for new deal opportunities and growth options for existing portfolio companies
Participating in general Keswick origination efforts, including identifying, screening, and evaluating new deal opportunities, participating on calls with investment bankers and prospective business owners, and preparing pitchbooks and other company marketing materials
Managing virtual datarooms in support of new investment opportunities, including reviewing all information uploaded to the VDR and synthesizing it for senior deal team members, noting the key takeaways, risks / mitigants, and opportunities as they relate to the new investment opportunity
Assisting the Keswick team with general administrative duties
Qualification
Required
At least one year of investment banking and private equity experience is preferred (a minimum of a strong investment banking or private equity internship is required)
Strong background in finance and accounting with the ability to build a three-statement operating model independently and have a working knowledge of LBO models
Extensive experience with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is mandatory
Self-sufficient individual who has a strong work ethic and places a high value on delivering a quality work product
