Responsibilities
Manage the full transaction process from executed contract through closing, ensuring all deadlines are tracked and met in accordance with New Jersey real estate laws and regulations
Coordinate and schedule key appointments, including home inspections, appraisals, attorney reviews (critical in NJ), title searches, and walk-throughs
Prepare, organize, and distribute transaction documents, including contracts, addenda, disclosures, and closing packages, while verifying all required signatures and dates
Act as the main point of contact and liaison between all parties involved in the transaction (buyers, sellers, agents, attorneys, lenders, title companies, inspectors, and other vendors)
Track and remove contingencies as they are satisfied, while communicating updates to agents and clients to keep everyone informed
Follow up on outstanding items such as mortgage commitments, repair negotiations, and escrow deposits to prevent delays
Qualification
Required
Experience in commercial transactions or financings
Ability to manage the full transaction process from executed contract through closing
Knowledge of New Jersey real estate laws and regulations
Experience coordinating and scheduling key appointments, including home inspections, appraisals, attorney reviews, title searches, and walk-throughs
Ability to prepare, organize, and distribute transaction documents, including contracts, addenda, disclosures, and closing packages
Experience acting as the main point of contact and liaison between all parties involved in the transaction
Ability to track and remove contingencies as they are satisfied
Strong communication skills to keep agents and clients informed
Ability to follow up on outstanding items such as mortgage commitments, repair negotiations, and escrow deposits
