Responsibilities
Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives, to meet clients’ objectives
Conduct legal research on New York probate laws, tax regulations, and fiduciary duties to support estate administration and planning strategies
Assist in probate and trust administration, including preparing petitions, inventories, and accountings for court filings
Advise clients on estate and gift tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with federal and state laws
Prepare and file documents for estate litigation matters, such as will contests or breach of fiduciary duty claims, to represent clients’ interests
Qualification
Required
Experience in estate plans, wills, trusts, or probate matters
Ability to draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives
Conduct legal research on New York probate laws, tax regulations, and fiduciary duties
Assist in probate and trust administration, including preparing petitions, inventories, and accountings for court filings
