The firm is seeking a Real Estate Litigation Associate to handle high-stakes real estate disputes and manage complex litigation matters in both state and federal courts.

Responsibilities

Litigate real estate disputes in NYC Civil Court, Supreme Court, federal courts, and administrative agencies — drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and appeals

Handle landlord-tenant proceedings, non-payment actions, holdovers, rent overcharge defenses, and co-op/condo conflicts from inception to trial or settlement

Manage complex matters like lease disputes, foreclosures, construction claims, and Article 78 challenges, coordinating with experts and negotiating resolutions

Conduct depositions, argue motions (e.g., Yellowstone injunctions, summary judgment), and prepare for hearings/trials in high-exposure commercial and residential cases

Perform due diligence and strategy in distressed scenarios, collaborating across practice groups on zoning, tax certiorari, and regulatory compliance to drive client outcomes
