Procurement Buyer, Specialist

Responsibilities

Review and process purchase requisitions for goods and services
Source suppliers and obtain competitive proposals to ensure cost-effective purchasing
Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions for contracts and purchase agreements
Manage vendor relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance with company standards
Coordinate procurement of capital equipment, including evaluation of contractual terms and lead times
Monitor order status, resolve invoice and order discrepancies, ensure timely delivery of materials
Maintain accurate procurement records and support audit/compliance requirements
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with business needs and goals

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
0–3 years of procurement or supply chain experience, preferably in biotech or pharmaceutical industry
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Ability to analyze data and solve problems effectively
Proficiency in procurement systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, collaborative team environment

Preferred

Knowledge of GMP and regulatory requirements is a plus
