Field Account Manager - Remote - San Francisco, CA

They are seeking a Field Account Manager responsible for driving revenue growth through proactive sales and developing strong customer relationships within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities
Promote and sell the product portfolio and services to achieve sales and revenue targets
Assess and analyze customer needs, respond to customer inquiries and suggest products and services to optimize their processes
You will work closely with internal cross functional teams and field applications specialists to implement successful strategies to grow the business
Coordinate and participate in marketing events to enhance customer engagement
Assess the potential of each customer and develop strategic account plans
Manage and build strong customer relationships for long term partnerships
Field based position, travel required (60%)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree preferably in a science discipline or with relevant sales experience in applied and life science research laboratories
3+ years of relevant sales experience in Life Sciences sales
Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills
Working knowledge of CRM (Salesforce is a plus though not required), and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook)
Excellent driving record
Good communication and negotiation skills
Self-motivated, energetic, results oriented, and hard working
Good teamwork skills and proven ability to also work with cross-functionally
Willingness and ability to travel frequently
Preferred
Understanding of the general laboratory market space is preferred-particularly in the Academic, Biotechnology, Biopharma, Industrial, Food and Beverage, Medical Device/Diagnostics, Environmental and Chemical customer segments
