The Art Director will be responsible for leading and directing the visual design of projects, collaborating with teams to develop impactful visual concepts that communicate brand messages effectively.

Responsibilities
Provide artistic and creative leadership to the design team, inspiring and guiding them to deliver innovative and visually stunning solutions
Collaborate with clients, account managers and the creative team to develop creative concepts including graphics, illustrations, layouts, multimedia elements, in addition to visual strategies & assets, and design briefs that align with clients' objectives
Oversee the design process, ensuring that concepts are executed with excellence and adhere to clients' brand guidelines and objectives
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
Lead creatively while presenting design concepts, addressing feedback, and building strong client relationships
Collaborate closely with graphic designers, copywriters, and other creative professionals to integrate design seamlessly into marketing campaigns. Also collaborate with external vendors, photographers, and illustrators as needed to support project needs. Coordinate directly with the production team/Finalizer to ensure final design assets are prepared and optimized for various platforms and mediums
Stay updated with design trends, emerging technologies, and industry developments to ensure that the agency's work remains fresh and cutting-edge
Review and approve design work to ensure it meets the highest quality standards, including aesthetics, brand alignment, and creativity
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field. A relevant master's degree is a plus
5+ years of experience in art direction, graphic design, or a similar role within a creative agency, with an emphasis on communications
Strong experience in restaurants and F&B, with a solid understanding of American culture
Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of creative projects and design styles
Proficiency in graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva & Ai tools
Exceptional visual design skills, including layout composition, typography, and color theory
Creative thinking and the ability to develop unique and innovative design concepts
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design ideas and concepts
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality design work
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and interact effectively with clients
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Preferred
Experience with Italian clients or projects is a strong advantage
