Responsibilities
Design and maintain the modeling and calculation layer across incentives and project economics
Apply analytical rigor and systems thinking to ensure consistency and defensibility
Implement logic in clean, production-ready software (with or alongside other engineers)
Collaborate closely with product, sales, and leadership to refine requirements
Operate comfortably in ambiguity and iterate as inputs and rules evolve
Qualification
Required
Software engineers who have owned complex business logic, pricing engines, or rules-based systems
Engineers or analysts who have translated messy, real-world inputs into reliable systems
Candidates comfortable working across modeling, data structures, and production code
Strong problem-solving and systems thinking
Comfort with databases, APIs, and backend services
Ability to explain complex logic clearly and pragmatically
Preferred
Experience in energy, utilities, real estate, construction pricing, fintech, or climate software
