The role involves translating business requirements into scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and modernizing legacy mainframe systems to ensure high-quality data delivery for analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and manage ETL/ELT pipelines using IDMC Cloud Data Integration, including real-time/batch flows and modular orchestration
Analyze and convert legacy mainframe code/logic into modern IDMC workflows, collaborating with analysts to maintain report fidelity
Prototype, build, and test ETL/ELT jobs; develop data warehouse models (Snowflake) for optimized reporting/analytics
Create designs, diagrams, and documentation; maintain metadata and coach peers on data warehousing best practices
Ensure data quality via Informatica Data Quality/Catalog; integrate with relational DBs (DB2, SQL Server, Oracle) and mainframe flat files

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
7+ years in data warehousing, data integration, and ETL/ELT tools
4+ years hands-on with Informatica IDMC (Cloud Data Integration, PowerCenter Cloud) and Informatica on-prem
Expertise in Snowflake cloud data warehousing, data modeling, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
Strong knowledge of relational databases (DB2, SQL Server, Oracle) and legacy mainframe (JCL, COBOL, FOCUS/WebFOCUS)
Experience with scripting, data quality enforcement, and agile cloud ecosystem practices

Preferred

Legacy system modernization experience
Mentoring/leadership in data teams
